Richard manages our sales team based in the London depot. Through supporting and leading our sales team to deliver the best service and aftercare for our clients, Richard’s managerial experience is built upon his varied career within the hire industry starting back in 2000.

Beginning his career testing hire equipment, Richard quickly learnt the ropes of the industry working for smaller hire companies learning the admin and management side of business, and later embarking on a career in management felt like the natural progression.

Richard used the experience gained so far to successfully launch three shops from a negative sum into high profits, later working as a Depot Manager turning over plus six figures per year. From here, Richard extended his journey into the airport sector for which he worked for seven years, before joining AMC in August 2017 as Depot Manager. Richard’s dynamism and personal approach ensured his progression to his current role as General Manager, where he heads up a team of eight sales professionals. Throughout a long and varied career working within the hire industry, a particular highlight for Richard is the specialist manufacture service that AMC offer, to ensure bespoke solutions can be created for each customer’s unique requirements.
